taxidermy
i can’t remember who i was talking to about my new found interest in taxidermy back in the summer, but i’m still thinking of doing it. i already have a full list of taxidermy workshops in canada that i could go to, one of them in british columbia. except workshops are nutso expensive depending on what you want to do and the duration of the course. so maybe one day, when i have a lot of spare time and money, i’ll go chase my dream.
when i was really excited about this whole thing i asked my manager if i could stuff her dog when it died, only if i become a real good taxidermist. she wasn’t too keen on the idea and told me to stay away from her dog. i didn’t realize that so many people were against stuffing dead animals, but i think it’s awesome. i’ve always had a fascination with dead things and stuffing them would just be perserving it’s natural beauty. i’ve told my friend laura a bunch of times how badly i want to put game heads throughout my house later on and she thinks it’s disgusting too.
so if anyone wants an animal stuffed in the future, you know where to find me.

for everyone who already has a blackberry, then you’ve probably noticed that there’s a new barcode function on your phone to make your lives easier when adding contacts on bbm. but did you know that you can make barcodes for other things like websites and texts?
you can make your own barcodes with the qr-code generator and you’ll need a code reader too. good thing my phone is already a code reader – another reason why blackberrys rule the world.
